Professionals are required to take continuing education classes and renew their license every 2 years. The deadline for esthetics renewal is September 30, 2025.

There has also been a significant push by patients for an integrative healthcare approach that combines conventional medical treatments with complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) therapies to provide a holistic and patient-centered approach to health and wellness.
